Head Coach Jason Drury
Head Coach Jason has been coaching the Blue Dolphins since 2001. Jason is another successful Blue Dolphin. While swimming the years of 1977 to 1986 he was a Junior Olympic qualifier and placed fifth in the backstroke. He achieved Short Course and Long Course high point trophies. He used his swimming background in the Navy to become one of only two rescue swimmers on board the USS Constellation.
He has been Nationally recognized for starting the Swimmers Supporting Soldiers annual program. One thing he promotes throughout the team is supporting the community that gives so much to the team.
Head Coach Jason is a 100% well rounded team coach. He can be found in the pool working with the beginner groups to on deck coaching the advanced groups. The team's success with broken records, State and National cuts and college scholarships shows Head Coach has a proven track record for continued success.
Coach Nichole Hendry
Coach Nichole was born and raised in Southern California where she swam varsity for her HS swim team.
She moved to Illinois with her husband, Craig, in 2002 and started her coaching career with the Shelbyville Lakers Swim Team in 2007, later taking over as head coach. She started with SBD in 2008 and shortly after began her teaching career with Sullivan Elementary school. She has three children, Asher , Addy, and Amelia. Addy and Millie currently swim with SBD. Her favorite thing about coaching is getting to know all the swimmers and watching them achieve their goals!
Coach Brett Guyot
Coach Brett started swimming with SBD in 1979.
Favorite stroke was the backstroke. He was been coaching since 2018.
Jodi Van Uytven
Coach Jodi is a long-time swimmer and lover of the IM!! She has two boys who swim on the team, Jace and Jack. She is a certified official as a stroke and turn, an administrative official, and a starter. When she’s not on deck, Coach Jodi is teaching Science and Math to junior high and high school students. Her favorite part of coach for the Sullivan Blue Dolphins is seeing the swimmers progress and grow as athletes and individuals!

While swimming the years of 1977 to 1986 he was a Junior Olympic qualifier and placed fifth in the backstroke. He achieved Short Course and Long Course high point trophies. Jason also holds several Sullivan Blue Dolphin records. He used his swimming background in the Navy to become one of only two rescue swimmers on board the USS Constellation. He has one son swimming and daughter swimming on the team.
